Last updated: 5 July 2026
By using pdfly (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The service
pdfly provides free, browser-based tools for working with PDF files — compressing, combining, converting, splitting, protecting, organizing, and editing. The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising.
Acceptable use
- You must own, or have the right to use, any files you upload.
- Do not use the Service for unlawful content or purposes, or to infringe anyone's rights.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.
- Do not use automated means to overwhelm the Service with excessive requests.
Your files
Files you upload are processed only to perform the action you request, and are automatically removed a short time afterward. We never store, share, or sell your documents. See our Privacy Policy for details.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your requirements. Always keep your own backup of important files.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, pdfly and syncster.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
Advertising
The Service displays third-party ads to remain free. Those ads are governed by the respective advertisers' and networks' policies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
